What to Wear in Winter Weather

We subscribe to the Norwegian belief, There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing. The Leila Day outdoor space is magical in winter and we embrace all the opportunities the colder temperatures and snow bring. Please be sure your child is properly prepared for outdoor learning and play this winter. All Leila Day kids will need:

 - Waterproof winter coat

- Snow pants or bibs

- Waterproof, insulated mittens or gloves (2 pairs is a great idea!)

- Winter hat

- Balaclava, neck warmer, or scarf (polar fleece keeps kiddos very warm!)

- Waterproof winter boots

-An extra pair of warm socks
